15,000 is the number of steps an average person takes in a day,
200 ml is the amount of sweat that is generated,
26 bones in each leg make you move,
20 muscles and 112 ligaments bear the weight of nearly twice your body weight.
That’s right, your body has enough to handle, its time to indulge in comfortable footwear and walk the way nature intended you to.
At Shoe Club we settle for nothing but the best. Designers at Shoe Club give our products a lot of importance when it comes to comfort and style. Modern in technology and traditional in engineering, mark the features of Shoe Club. When it comes to product engineering - quality is Shoe Clubs primary concern. Know more on how a good shoe is engineered.
Leather Uppers: An important quality of leather is that it is hardwearing. The leather uppers are designed to fit the natural contours of the foot and are made of soft supple and flexible natural material that allows the foot to “breathe”.
Hidden toecap: The toecap prevents the uppers from pressing down on the big toe when the shoe flexes during walking. It also ensures that the front of the shoe retains its looks.
Light weight: One of the most important aspects of walking with comfort is the weight of the shoe. Light shoes require lesser energy and are more comfortable for walking. Weigh the shoe in your hand, the lighter the better.
Top line: The area that rests the ankle is soft and padded, but also stable so that the shoe fits properly around the ankle.
Mid sole: The area that connects the sole and the rest of the shoe must be made of a ductile material. Check the sole by bending and flexing the shoe.
Outer sole: This is the part of the shoe that provides a grip with the ground. The soles are flexible, light and shock absorbent relieving the person of harsh surfaces. Test a sole on a tabletop by rubbing it – low quality soles leave particles like an eraser.
The fit: The shoe should take the shape of the feet. It should hold the ankle and the heel firm. At the same time it should be comfortable around the toes.
Insole: The insoles of our shoes are provided with a soft material on which the foot rests on. It is made of a material that can absorb foot moisture and circulate air at the same time.
Lining: We know that good linings are made of either leather, or a hardwearing insulating textile. Shoes that have linings with smooth surfaces are easier to wear. The linings are made to last under all climatic conditions, allowing breathability and fast drying action.
The outsole: The quality of the outsole is flexible, light and durable. Materials like PU and RubberTech have all these qualities. Some footwear use either of these materials or use them in a combined form. |
